Inflated Extruded
Snacks provide a wide variety of colors, shapes, textures and flour
used. A variety of flour can be used for making inflated extruded
snacks. The moistened flour is fed to the extruder and the extruded
meal coming out of the extruder get cut and shaped as per the final
shape of the snacks. The shaped pellets go to the dryer to reduce the
moisture content. Flavor and seasoning is sprayed on the fried pellets
by the flavoring system.
Machines involved in Inflated Extruded Snacks:
a) LS-51 : Flour Mixer
To mix the flour with water to prepare the meal for Inflated Extruded Snacks
b) LS-72 : Double Screw Extruder
To extrude the meal into pellets and shape them into desired shape for Inflated Extruded Snacks
c) LS-91 : Three Way Drying Machine
To reduce the moisture content from the pellets before seasoning
d) LS-47 : Automatic Seasoning Machine
To spray oil and seasoning on the dried Inflated Extruded Snacks to improve their tastes
e) LX-55 : Automatic Pouch Packing Machine
To pack the dried and flavored Inflated Extruded Snacks into suitable printed pouch
